The Maine Celtics have advanced to the G-League Finals after defeating the Long Island Nets on Thursday night. DJ Steward led the way for Maine with 27 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of three-pointers in the final two minutes to seal the victory.
The Celtics trailed by 10 points at the end of the third quarter, but they outscored the Nets 37-14 in the fourth quarter to win the game. Kris Dunn added 21 points for Maine, while Aaron Nesmith had 17 points and eight rebounds.
The Celtics will now face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the G-League Finals. Game 1 is scheduled for Saturday night in Rio Grande Valley.
