Anna Delvey Accepts "Apology" After 'The View' Reads Statement From Lawyer About Debts

Manhattan D.A. Says ‘No Deal’ to Fake Heiress Anna Delvey in Fraud Case

According to her lawyer, Anna Delvey has accepted an "apology" from a talk show that accused her of swindling thousands of dollars from hotels and banks. 'The View' offered the apology on Friday, March 3, after the show was contacted by Delvey's lawyer. In a letter from Delvey's lawyer, the lawyer told the show that Anna "did not defraud any banks or hotels in New York." Anna Delvey also complained about the way she was treated by the show's hosts. She claims they were verbally abusive towards her and misrepresented her story. Anna Delvey is currently facing charges of grand larceny, theft of services, and attempted grand larceny. In 2021, she was convicted of grand larceny and sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison. She was released last year for good behavior. In March 2023, she was taken back into custody for allegedly violating the terms of her parole. In other news, Anna Delvey's former friend Rachel Williams is writing a book about their experience together, which is expected to be published in May 2023. The book is called "My Friend Anna: The True Story of a Fake Heiress."
